Changing situation with CSKA have suggested my first question to Igor Janovsky:
You are the oldest player in the team…
It seems like that. We haven't accomplished the season's objective, - he
said right away, - we had not so many failures, but the victories were less
than it was needed to contest for the high goals. While the team could count
for a prize. We have lost our points, having made draws in matches with
Torpedo-ZIL and Rostselmash, absurdly surrendered to Lokomotiv, when had an
advantage of two goals.
This match with Lokomotiv, where CSKA managed to score two autogoals, was
probably the most unpleasant memory of the season?
The most annoying one. Especially since I was sent off the field. But the
worst match was that with Zenit (1:6 - A.P). We went through a collective
failure in St. Petersburg.
Do you regret that you have left France?
I never do so. Taking into account that it's going to be a promising team,
that is aiming high, there are no reasons for regret.
Do you miss France?
I do when I see French streets in news, it revokes warm memories. But this
is not nostalgia. By the way, I'm going to Paris for five days.
To have a rest?
No, business. Have to decide some financial problems, change driving license
- I left France in a hurry, so I'm still using French driving license in
Moscow. And for vacations we are going to Italy with my wife. I was there
several times - Alania made regular meetings there - but saw it mainly from the
bus window. We'll visit my clubmate Jimmy Algerino, who is playing for Venice
now. Besides, we are planning to spend three days in Rome.
Aren't you going to visit Vladikavkas?
We have just returned from there. We went there without notice - decided to
make a surprise. We celebrated my mother's birthday and met everybody:
Marina's parents came there from Korenovsk.
Have you got used to Moscow?
Quite well. My wife was transferred from Krasnodarsk university to Moscow
State law academy. She likes it here. On the other hand, there are so many
places to go in Moscow - theatres, concerts, and cinema. Although during the
season matches and evening training don't allow going out much.
